Patient Concierge

- London -

A dedicated advocate, partner, personal assistant, counsellor and friend to help you navigate and manage the medical, financial, emotional and practical changes you and your family will encounter from your diagnosis through treatment and recovery or during end of life.

Or

What problem  do you address

Cancer affects more than the patient, it takes a huge emotional, practical and financial toll on the family.
Up to a third of cancer patients report their partner lost their job accompanying them to scans, appointments, treatments and to manage the system and support them. Nobody should battle cancer alone and not everyone has a family who can afford to take the time to support them.

What does a Patient Concierge do

We provide a dedicated concierge to act as your counsellor, advocate, guide and personal assistant.
We take pressure off you and your family from the stress of navigating the system.  As well as their knowledge of the health service your concierge will know you as well as your family, diagnosis, treatment plan, prognosis, preferences and personal situation. Our services manage the technical, administrative and care side.

What does it cost?

Our services are bespoke and chosen by you, they will change and adapt as your needs do during treatment, recovery or end of life. As a guide, after the discovery and matching process most clients spend between £1000 and £2000pm. In financial terms our clients find our service significantly cheaper than the disruption that would otherwise be caused to their family members work.

Don't charities offer these services

There is no other personal, face to face, end to end or patient concierge style service we are aware of in the UK.
There are literally thousands of amazing charities and specialist organisations offering support, education and advocacy. However,  like the NHS they are fragmented, under resourced and cannot offer a personalised service. Whether it is medical, social, educational, legal, financial or emotional we will help you obtain the care you want whether it is from the state, a charity or private practice.

What don't you offer?

We cannot offer medical, diagnosis or treatment advice and do not offer personal care services.
Whilst our staff are either medically trained or experienced in the services we offer it is critical that we remain independent so we can help you get the best from your doctors, carers or the system that is treating you. Our role is  to support you in emotional and practical terms and to identify, obtain and manage the services on your behalf and for your benefit.

Do we have to commit to anything?

No, after the discovery process our services are charged by the hour. However, most patients choose to purchase a package of hours each month to ensure they have the support they need from their dedicated concierge.

All of our services are booked through the website and paid for in advance. Where appointments overrun we will invoice within 24hours.
